KEMET Electronics Multilayer Piezoelectric Actuators are composed based on a proprietary unique element structure design and piezoelectric ceramic materials with high electrostrictive factors. These actuators are smaller in size than conventional piezoelectric actuators, but can produce higher displacements and forces at a low voltage. They feature 150VDC maximum driving voltage, ±20% capacitance tolerance, and insulation resistance of 1MΩ or higher. These KEMET Actuators include the AE and AER series as resin-coated products, and the AHB, ASB, and ASL series that are metal sealed to provide better protection against ambient humidity, thus offering higher performance and an extended operational lifetime.
